It’s only two episodes in and consists of a brief ten minute runtime in each episode, but it is possibly the funniest thing on screen!
Falz the Bahd Guy and Toke Makinwa star in this comedic genius of a webseries called “Therapy” about a couple (Abiodun & Stephanie) in their therapy sessions – both before marriage, and six months after.
In episode 1, they start out with Pastor Zakius (Josh2Funny) before their wedding. They are initially two love drunk individuals who are overly excited and optimistic about their future, while fielding a pastor who seems more interested with his offering bucket than actually giving any real advice. After the wedding though, true colors begin to manifest in their sessions with Dr. Jude (Bovi). Watch the episode below
In episode 2, Stephanie is frustrated with Biodun’s lack of interest in the household chores. Biodun, on the other hand, cannot fathom how a full fledged man can ever “un-dignify” himself enough to indulge in such things. His mind is quickly changed when Stephanie suggests an unacceptable compromise. Watch the episode below
It’s hilarious, it’s well acted, it’s straight to the point yet it manages to lace in some core lessons. Therapy is a web-series to watch! By the way, can we talk about how incredible of an actress Toke is! She is so effortless and graceful with the camera.
